Fall 2003 San Francisco Bay Area Romp

Our Romp Site:      Watson Park in San Jose

San Jose will be dedicating a brand new enclosed dog park within spacious Watson Park on August 2nd.  This wonderful new facility has extensive grass fenced off-leash running areas for both small and large dogs, seating areas and picnic facilities.

 Directions:    

§         From 101, take Oakland/13th Street exit

§         Follow 13th Street to Jackson Street

§         Turn Left onto Jackson & continue straight in

Dog Park is at the rear (101 side) past playing fields and picnic tables.  Look for signs and balloons 

What to bring:

*   Your DOG(s) and family pack members

*   A SNACK to share which starts with the first letter of your dog’s name (ex. Lana Bella will be bringing Lox and Bagels; Molly will bring Muffins  …)

*   A DOGGIE TOY for the doodle grab bag exchange

*   Something you want all doodle owners to know about (ex. names of great groomers, quality dog care, mat management products, irresistible dog treats…)

*   Your laughter and love of a good time

San Francisco Bay Area Romp Overview

 

Buoyed by the social reputations of Lana Bella Doodle and Sebastian Thor, and fueled by recent episodes of labradoodles on the Tonight Show, the response to the 6 September Romp in the Bay Area has simply surpassed all expectations.  We realize that, despite the experience and finesse of our hosting labradoodles, we will not be able to accommodate everyone at the September 6th Romp.

 

However, we just couldn’t disappoint you---- so we have added events to give all of you a chance to mingle and shake paws with our local doodle community.

 

 Friday, September 5th

Social in honor of Beverley and Trish at the home of Lana Bella Doodle.  A chance to meet and talk with Beverley and Trish in a relaxed environment.

  • Friday, September 5th  (5:30 – 7:30 PM)  - Los Altos, California

  • Adults Only – no dogs

  • Bring a beverage to share

Seminar for Labradoodle Breeders at the home of Lana Bella Doodle.  Discussions of topics and issues specifically related to breeding labradoodles

For Labradoodle families only

  • Labradoodle Romp with Beverley and Trish   (11:00 AM – 1:00 PM)

  • Attendance at the Romp is limited to labradoodles and their immediate human pack members

  • RSVP by 15 August to lanabelladoodle@hotmail.com, including the number in your party, labradoodle’s name(s), age, size and breeder

 

Mini-Romps

A great opportunity for those interested in meeting labradoodles and learning more about them.  Informal Mini-romps are being planned for multiple locations around the Bay.  Information on these mini-romps will be posted on the website as we receive it.

  •  Meet and play with our labradoodles

  • Owners will be available to answer your questions about our dogs - how to determine if a labradoodle is right for you, sources for labradoodles, characteristics, etc.
