On Holiday: Sebastian Road Tests a New Jeep!

March 2005

Sebastian Gets a New Car!

The 2005 Jeep Grand Cherokee is here and Dad Scot said it matches Sebastian's hair color so well, that the Puppy had to have one!  Here, he does his first inspection, before Dad Glen drives him to Los Angeles!.  Meanwhile, Dad Scot is headed to Arizona, to chase baseballs, and everyone's going to meet up in Palm Springs.  Click here to read the full story.

Our first stop was Cousin Marrie's!  She lives in Altadena with my friend Mischief!  Mischief

and I were VERY happy to see each other again, (see 2004 Road Trip for our  first meeting),

and played for hours.   Marrie and Frank's house is FUN!  People come and go all day long!

Here, Marie is making an Italian specialty while her 3 sons look like they might eat it all and

not leave any for me!

Next, we went to the WONDERFUL La Posada resort in Palm Springs!  Dad Scot flew in and met us there and the owners

insisted that I stay off leash, (it was a gated resort), all the time!  They had doggies too and I rough-housed for 4 days!

I was afraid of the pool, cause I couldn't figure out how to get out!  BUT, see the fountains in the back?  I loved to climb in and lay down, under the water . . . just like my Dads did in the big pool!

Everyone was so nice to me that my Dads made a special bar-b-que and invited everyone at the resort.  I helped in our room, (above left), and even supervised the grilling!  See all the doggies?  Chloe and Sirius were my best buds and Dads got on real well with Matt and David, two gentlemen of distinction who are waiting for their new house to get done!

Our last stop was West Hollywood.  Dad Scot used to live there, so we got to visit all his old haunts.  We stayed at the Ramada Plaza on Santa Monica Blvd.  The stairs in our room scared me, because they were "open."

We even went for cocktails at all the sheik clubs, where everyone made a big fuss over me!

It was too dark to get photos on Rodeo Drive, in Beverley Hills.
